In 1970, the Klem panel connector was selected as part of the Permanent Collection of Industrial Design at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMa) in New York.

Austrian State Prize
The Klem connector system was awarded the Austrian State Prize in 1980. In 1987, the KlemLite halogen light received this prize as well.

Busse Design Award
The Klem connector received the Busse Longlife Design Award in 2005.
This award is presented every three years to design products that have lasted more than eight years in the market. The products have to be of high quality in their form, function and ergonomics, and the impression and concept must have remained the same over the years.
