The Klem connector system was awarded the Austrian State Prize in 1980. In 1987, the KlemLite halogen light received this prize as well.

A state prize in Austria is an award presented by a federal ministry that includes funding. State prizes are among Austria’s most prestigious awards.

The Klem connector received the Busse Longlife Design Award in 2005.

This award is presented every three years to design products that have lasted more than eight years in the market. The products have to be of high quality in their form, function and ergonomics, and the impression and concept must have remained the same over the years.
